Wendy Lahey, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories "Both of my children, aged 6 and 8, have Aurora Heat's children line, Sekui, this winter. The fur has been way to keep their feet and hands warm. I highly recommend them for children. I know many friends who have purchased them and feel the same way. My children manage putting them in their mitts and socks quite easily. The foot warmers work best with snug fitting socks that have a bit of stretch. Aurora Heat fur warmers has allowed them to enjoy the cold weather and play outside for much longer than previously. We tested by using one hand with the warmers and one without. Clearly, Aurora Heat is the winner!
Jane O'Neil, Calgary, Alberta "This is my second winter with Aurora Heat. LOVE THEM!!! I live outside Calgary and our weather is like a yo-yo but when it is cold, even my down-filled mittens don't cut it. Slide in those little furry patches and I don't get cold. They work like a charm!"
Deborah Simmons, Deline, Northwest Territories "When I bought my down mitts, I thought I was set for the cold weather skiing. I was wrong. Today at 39 below, I slipped my Aurora Heat warmers in those mitts and skied for two hours - hands toasty warm the whole way. Magically, even my thumbs stayed warm!"
Kat Dornian, Calgary, Alberta "My hand and feet warmers arrived so quickly (a week after ordering them.) I tried them out this morning and they are amazing. I was tired of using disposable warmers and wanted something more sustainable. These really did the trick. I tucked the feet ones into my socks and the hand ones into my gloves. Both appendages stayed warm through my hour long walk in th -21C weather this morning - a feat not always possible without warmers. So pleased!!" Hanna Szefer, Whitehorse, Yukon "I just got these and absolutely love them! I can't stop raving about them to friends and family and have people try them out for themselves. I have Raynaud's and have had trouble keeping my hands warm at the best of times in mild weather, so in a colder climate, it can be quite difficult. During the past week, the temperature has dipped from 0 to -20. I just slipped the warmers into my gloves and have been able to keep my hands nice and toasty! And as an added bonus, they're super soft against your hand. I would highly recommend these to anyone!"
Duane Barker, Leduc, Alberta "I have purchased a set of foot and hand warmers from Aurora Heat as well as the head warmer. I have used them for the last few days at work and at home.
At work I used them in leather work boots and ice bear rubber boots. Normal I wear two pairs of socks but experimented with one pair and the warmers. They worked well as I felt no cold from the steel toes on my own toes.
I used the head warmer in the hard hat without a liner and then tried it with the liner. I had good results in both cases with my head feeling toasty but not too hot and no sweating. Today, I used the hand warmers in some leather gloves (see picture) for about hour and a half taking apart a wooden jungle gym at about -10-12 C. With ratchet wrench. They were placed inside the glove with the fur against the back of my hand, my fingers did not get cold at all.
I have also used them inside my high voltage rubbers gloves this week in the same fashion, and my hand stayed warm the whole time. I will continue to try them out in other applications. Can't wait to try them ice fishing!"
Jenny Neil, Terrace, British Columbia "Bought Aurora Heat hand and foot warmers for my husband who has circulation problems. He placed the foot warmers as recommended inside his socks as he was going to be wearing rubber boots. Normally he comes in the house complaining of cold feet - not this time. He said his feet were toasty warm. I was also very pleased with the speed with which my order was processed. An excellent product which I would recommend to anyone who has to be out in cold weather."
Courtney Patricia, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories I would highly recommend this product to anyone who spends time outdoors - so warm and cozy! Thanks, Aurora Heat!"
Rosanna Strong, Strong Interpretations, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories "Just a quick shout out to anyone considering this product. Go get some. With winter finally here, I am very excited to have this natural and renewable way to keep the hands and feet of my tour guests warm.
It gives my environmental brain a break knowing that this is a sustainable product, culturally appropriate and if and when I need to dispose of them, they get returned to the earth. I don't get that using those one time hot shot products. Mashi cho!!"
Shelley Bertuzzi, Vernon, British Columbia "Love my hand and feet warmers. Have used them for walking and snowshoeing!! Highly recommend!"
Katie Santos, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories "I love these !! If you have poor circulation these will totally help !!"
